Online ECS Health, Safety and Environment Assessment
We offer a booking service for the Online ECS Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Assessment test. This test is designed and administered by ECS to ensure that individuals working in the electrotechnical industry have a good level of health and safety awareness when on site, helping to prevent accidents and promote safety and quality of work.
By using our service to book the Online ECS HS&E Assessment test, you can conveniently secure a slot to take the test and demonstrate that you have the required knowledge to meet the HS&E requirements for obtaining an ECS Card. Please note that we only provide the booking service for the assessment test. The test itself is offered by ECS, and they are responsible for issuing the ECS Card.
The Online ECS HS&E Assessment test is specifically designed for electrotechnical workers, and as such, the CSCS H&S assessment cannot be accepted as an alternative.
Once you pass the Online ECS HS&E Assessment test, your results are valid for 2 years. Make sure to apply for your ECS Card through ECS within that period, or you’ll need to retake the assessment.

To apply for an ECS Labourer Card you’ll need 2 things:
- ECS Health, Safety and Environment Assessment test
- EAL Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment 603/2310/3
Once you have these you’ll be able to apply for your ECS Labourer Card.
